ASUS Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro launched globally on August 26th, 2020. ASUS Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro is the successor to ASUS Zenfone 6 and 6 Pro. ASUS Zenfone 6 and 6 Pro was famous due to its FLIP Camera that served as both REAR and FRONT camera, and with amazing camera quality.

  • Screen - 6.67 inch, 90Hz AMOLED FullHD, 92% Screen to Body Ratio, with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
  • RAM and ROM - 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB(ASUS ZENFONE MAX 7),8GB/128GB(ASUS ZENFONE MAX 7Pro).
  • Battery - 5000mAh battery, 30W Fast charging
  • Operating System - Zen UI, with Android 10.

Initial Impressions of ASUS Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro are quite decent and it comes with power-packed specifications out of the box.
Some important and highlighting features of ASUS Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro are-
  • ZenUI which is close to Pure and Stock Android Experience with no Bloatware.
  • Amazing FLIP CAMERAS that serve as both FRONT and Rear Camera.
  • UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 Ram which promises powerpacked performance when coupled with Snapdragon 865 and 865+.
 But there are some areas where ASUS Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro have done a bit of cost-cutting which might not appeal to its user.
  • No in-Display Fingerprint scanner although it has AMOLED display.
  • Missing a Macro Lens.
  • Only 30Watt Fast-Charger given in the box.
Apart from this one aspect of ASUS Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro is that priced fairly high and if it releases in INDIA at the same price it wont be a deal-breaker in India at all. Many other alternative such as the Oneplus 8 series will always be better options.
